Jeff and Trisha had a very clear vision of the feelings they wanted their wedding to spark for their guests. Above all they wanted to share their love for the great outdoors, specifically for the mountains. They chose to host it at the Double Eagle Resort & Spa in stunning June Lake, CA. Another experience they wanted to incorporate was meeting new friends. They hosted a Welcome BBQ the night before for everyone to mingle and get to know each other.
Jeff and Trisha met while working in the same industry, but they were separated by several states. After reconnecting several years after meeting they decided to make a go at a long-distance relationship. Jeff started writing a song for Trisha during these early days that expressed how hard it was to say goodbye when they left each other to go back home. To propose he recorded a video of the finished song .. with the proposal at the end and uploaded it to YouTube to play for Trisha after work one evening. He had never played it live for her (and had never played in front of anyone)… Until the welcome dinner where he got up in front of everyone and played it for Trisha, asking her to marry him again. She of course said yes again and we took them out into the starry fields for a night time photo.
The next day the very intimate ceremony took place under the incredible Sierra Nevada mountains, and a reception followed full of revelry and laughter. Trisha & Jeff we wish you a lifetime of love and laughter. May you always bring each other joy!
