Naomi and David fell for each other while working as camp counselors. With Naomi serving in the Peace Corps in Guatemala they planned a grown-up Summer Camp wedding at the Mendocino Woodlands Camp for their guests; complete with summer camp activities like S’mores, crafts, card and board games and nature hikes. The first night at camp featured a Costume Contest (with prizes for the winners!). Naomi and David were dressed as Princess Bride and the Dread Pirate Roberts. Can they get any cuter?? Guests were able to stay in one of the camp’s cabins for the weekend. On Saturday morning Naomi and her ladies took over the Infirmary (one of the few buildings with power) to get ready for her fairytale wedding. The set up their chuppah under The Five Trees where his father performed the marriage. A live band was rocking away at the reception. Dinner and dessert was covered by Chipotle and Sprinkles! We absolutely loved the light filtering through the redwoods for their bridal portraits and loved that Naomi and David were willing to sit down on the bridge over the creek. It felt like we were hundreds of miles from civilization. It was the best version of an unplugged wedding. Naomi and David we wish you a lifetime of love and laughter!
