Most weddings are all about family, but when two high school sweethearts are getting married it is really about family! With 7 siblings between them the getting ready portion of the day was full of camaraderie and familiar comfort. Nieces and nephews ran back and forth between the rooms, excited to be dressed up like royalty. Their ceremony was waterside at Lake Oak Meadows, just a touch before sunset. Nikki walked around the lake on the arm of her father, wearing high top Converse wedges covered in lace from her mother’s wedding dress. Soft bistro lights and candles lit up their elegant reception.
