Every time we pull up to an engagement session or a wedding venue where we have photographed before Mike says to Brynn, “I want to photograph this place differently than we have before.” Brynn just smiles and nods, because she knows that even if they use the same wall to photograph in front of Mike is going to photograph it differently because he focuses on the couple. Their personalities, their love, their uniqueness. LACMA is one of those places with so many cool spots that we really haven’t fully explored it all even though we have photographed their quite a bit. Elizabeth and Jeremy are members, and we learned so much more about the museum this time, and we got to experience a live piano concert while we were photographing.
They met while attending USC, Elizabeth’s friend lived in the same dorm as Jeremy and introduced the couple their freshman year. They said they immediately became best friends. Twelve years later they are still best friends, and thought maybe they should be married best friends. Both transplants from the other side of the country they are planning an intimate gathering of friends and family for their October wedding. One of our favorites from the day was the two of them holding hands in front of Elizabeth’s favorite Matisse. We also used a little wall mural that we found over by the Page Museum. These two definitely brought their personalities and were so comfortable snuggling up with one another our time with them breezed by.
