“The best thing to hold on to in life is each other.” There was a lot of holding on last Sunday. Tears of joy were on everyone’s cheeks; from the dads to the couple, to the guests looking on. It was a day when two beautiful hearts big enough to hold the world came together to start an adventure; an adventure in love, in family, in life. Adam and Kimmy cannot go very long without a smile or laughter. It was a constant during their beautiful day. Surrounded by family who had traveled from near and far, they pledged to honor, love and cherish each other.
They met in a skyscraper in San Francisco where they were both pursuing a career in law, (but really it was just so they could find each other) as they both quickly realized that they would much rather be teachers. So they traveled and went back to school, and moved to another city, and then moved back to the city they love. They knew they wanted their wedding to reflect their love of San Francisco so they used special landmarks from the city where they had made memories together for their table names. Tiny apples directed guests to their seats where delicious cookies waited. The Mountain Terrace was the perfect venue for these two nature lovers with its wide grassy lawn and towering Redwoods. Colorful umbrella’s decorated the seating area, and gourmet cupcakes topped off the night.
Kimmy and Adam, as you continue in this adventure called life we wish you nothing but love and laughter. We wish you sweet mornings and joy. Hold on to the love, and to the person that means the most to you in the world on this day and every day from now until forever. We love you both and could not be happier for you.
