Beverly Garland Hotel Wedding | Asaf & Melody

We have been saving this gorgeous wedding.. trying to time it with Asaf and Melody’s second wedding in Israel. They met through family and friends when they both agreed to help put an Ikea dresser together. Asaf was smitten with Melody from the start, but as they say the timing wasn’t right. He waited. For over a year he waited for his moment to snag her. Melody was calm as she got ready in her room with her best buddy, Pebbles, close underfoot. Asaf’s twin brother and honorary groomsmen had traveled from Israel to be there for him, and the raucous party in the men’s room was all friendship and smiles and good times. It is customary in Israel for the groom to come and get the bride before the ceremony, so Melody hid from Asaf as he came in, and we captured a very touching and heartfelt first look. Their handwritten vows were heartfelt, and full of close to home promises like Melody promising to make sure she wasn’t just hungry before she yells at Asaf. (That’s a common issue in this house too.)  The bride’s little sister was prepped for her flower girl job (youtube and lots of practice to thank), and very proud of her own “wedding dress”. Melody walked down the aisle with her grandmother, such a sweet tribute. Melody waited until the party started to change into her coordinating reception dress. The ruffles mimicked the ruffles on Melody’s wedding gown beautifully. Hands down, an amazing couple. We could not have been more excited to be there to photograph their stateside ceremony. We wish you both a fabulous time in Israel and Greece! Enjoy your time with family and remember to laugh often. Love well.
