“Love is spoken here.“
Tanner and Kylie met at school, and first met us on a Skype chat. From the first moment we could see the love they held for each other. The way they both looked to the other when they answered questions or when they talked about their wedding plans. They sat close and held each other’s hands, and spoke with joy about the day they would become husband and wife. They were still planning the details of the day as Tanner finished his Master’s program and Kylie finished out her semester.
We waited outside with their families last Friday for the first glimpse of the new Mr. & Mrs. The colors of cream, pink and gray were perfect for a May wedding. Kylie was a vision in her lace gown and flower crown. Her bridesmaids wore cream tops with the perfect shade of blush tulle skirts. The groom and his men w After the family and group shots in front of the temple we made our way down to Balboa Park, specifically the Artist’s Colony where artists hailed the newlyweds with congratulations and well-wishes (and photo suggestions!) Kylie and tanner took it all in stride with gracious thank you’s, big smiles and in one case.. The groom even stopped to speak to onlookers in Portuguese!
Throughout the day we learned just how incredibly kind, generous and caring these two families are that raised Kylie and Tanner to find each other. Clearly, love is the language spoken in these homes. We wish you both the best in the beginning of your own family. We wish you a lifetime of love and laughter.
