Just in time for the holidays, Anna & Charles took us on a windy-road adventure to the hills above Redlands last Sunday. Right to the spot where Charles first asked Anna to be his girlfriend. They met at a local coffee shop through a mutual acquaintance. He was a med student studying and she was happy to keep him company. Anna runs Selah Wellness and is a Board Certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. That is where our paths crossed last April. She has been guiding us along a nutritional journey for our son with Asperger’s. Charles wants to open his own Family Practice and says that Anna has opened his eyes to alternative methods of healing. Their drive for caring for others is evident in everything they do and we are so blessed to have met them and we are ecstatic to be photographing their wedding next month.
Charles planned an elaborate proposal. They love to use Groupon deals for dates so when Charles bought a hot air balloon deal Anna wasn’t suspecting anything. During the ride Charles pointed out something below on the ground. When Anna looked over the basket she saw a sign: Marry me? Of course the answer was yes, and they were soon planning a wedding in less than three months. Despite the slightly frigid temperatures Anna’s brightly colored outfit and their bubbling personalities had us all laughing as we spent a little time together in the hills. I love the way they look at each other and how easy it was for them to snuggle up together. The laughing pictures are so real and vivid and a perfect portrait of them.
