Sang & Antonio’s San Francisco Engagement Session

Sang and Antonio were our first skype date! They are getting married on board the Eternity yacht in the Newport Harbor in March. When we first chatted about an engagement session we were excited we were able to travel to the city they now call home, San Francisco! We met them at the Palace of the Fine Arts to start. Even though it was chilly and overcast Sang had a bright, fun dress to wear, and Antonio complemented her perfectly with his dressed up jeans and blazer. After a quick wardrobe change we headed down to Chrissy Fields and the waterfront for a different look. Sadly the Golden Gate Bridge decided to be shy and wrap itself in fog that day, but the sailboats in the marina were the perfect backdrop for their very chic outfits. Sang brought along one of her bridesmaids with her to help with their extra clothes, and to make sure her hair was perfect and lips were glossed. Usually this is Brynn’s job, but she never says no to an extra pair of eyes. We definitely recommend for you to bring a friend along on your session for just this kind of assistance. A friend can also make you feel less self-conscious, it’s like bringing a cheerleader with you!

They met at work in Southern California, and have since moved up North together. Antonio was very persistent in getting that first date. And he told us the wait was worth it. These two are so comfortable and tender with each other. At one point Antonio carried Sang on his back to save her shoes from sinking into grass and sand. Antonio was such a good sport about missing his football games to spend the morning with us. Thank you both for choosing us to be your photographers, we cannot wait to sail away with you for your wedding vows!
